Christmas Funny Poems - Short Poems
A Christmas Tale Funny poem By Jacqueline Ramm
At this time of year it is patently clear That the males are the ones who are blest. Thoughts like "goodwill to men" we hear time and again And we find them quite hard to digest.
As we women all know, men think they run the show, And sometimes we allow them this pause. But it gets on our nerves, like too many hors d'oeuvres When we want to get at the main course.
Many times out of mind the same problem we find, Leaving plans to the menfolk is risky. Christmas spirit they think is some kind of a drink, Such as vodka, Baccardi, or whiskey.
Since we carry the load, men keep out of our road, We are ready and willing and able. For it's perfectly clear, that the stuffed turkeys here Are not always confined to the table.
The traditional way is now rather passe, Lets give credit, where credit is due. Then you'll see, man or boy, in return you'll enjoy The fruits of OUR goodwill to you.
At Christmas Time Funny By Grace E. Easley
There's nothing like Christmas And woods deep in snow To make us remember The dear long ago.
Down life's weary highway, Years pass single file, But deep in us all Lives a bit of the child.
The same breathless wonder Floods over us when The gray skies lose snowflakes That dance in the wind.
Smoke curling from chimneys, A white windowpane, And dear thoughts return And old joys remain.
The tinkle of sleigh bells Across a still night, A warm, shadowed hearth Whose embers burn bright.
A colorful afghan Thrown over a chair, Green holly entwined Down the length of a stair.
The candlelit church And the golden bells tell Of chapters each heart Remembers so well.
Oh, there's nothing like Christmas And woods deep in snow To make us remember The dear long ago.
California Christmas Funny poem by Timothy Tim Werner
No California christmas could compare to where the snow might drift down everywhere the sun, in more grinchish ways than one Leaves my snowy landscapes earthly bare. Christmas in california is my prayer.
I live alone, and celebrate in soul where christmas days are crowded, white and wonderful.
Greetings To The World By Paul Curtis
“Happy Christmas” is what I chose to say But other greetings are used for the day By one and all during the festive season And foreign languages are the reason There's "Frolyke Kerstfeest" or "Joyoo Noel" "Felleeth Navidad" even "Glaydlig Yool" "Kalla Kristoogenna", "Boo-on Natarlee" "Boas Festas" or "Sheng Dan Kwhy Lee" You could say "Frerlicker Vine-akten" Or maybe "Roshdesrom Kristovim" then So you can say it in very many ways But please never say "Happy Holidays"
Its that time of the year again
Its that time of the year again Jingles, laughter, parties and celebration. To wish someone dear and close, Miss someone the heart yearns, To Remember to Good old times, fun we had, Its that time of the year again.
Its that time of the year again, When we dance, sing and party, And get the best decorations on the tree Its that time of the year again, When Santa rules everyone's thoughts, And you mine. Enjoy our Funny Christmas Poems page!
