Christmas Is a Holiday for Friends By Nicholas Gordon Christmas is a holiday for friends, However they may be, or not, related. Remember that the three wise kings were strangers In search of one remote, uncanny dream. So may we all be far more than we seem, Together bound for dark and haunting changes, More lovely for the loves we have created Along the lonely paths from means to ends, Stumbling towards that star of Bethlehem. Merry Christmas To My Angel Friends I believe in angels those helpers who are near exactly when they're needed most, then seem to disappear. I know them when I see them whatever their disguise they're patient and encouraging resourceful, kind, and wise. Yes, I believe in angels the kind that heaven sends and I'm surrounded every day by angels I call friends. God gave me someone special when He gave me A special friend like you. Have a Blessed Christmas! The Perfect Christmas By Broken Angel The perfect christmas, would be held with much family and friends, all gathered in one place, to spend this special time, with those they love. So now dreaming, of that one perfect christmas, with the special people in my life. Pictures i see flashing, through my mind, of beautiful white snow falling, a tree, with presents under it, in front of the window, and everything laughing, having a good time, while opening, their gifts. Such a wonderful time of the year, hopefully being the perfect christmas, that we all wish for. The Holy Night By Elizabeth Barrett Browning We sate among the stalls at Bethlehem; The dumb kine from their fodder turning them, Softened their horn'd faces, To almost human gazes Toward the newly Born: The simple shepherds from the star-lit brooks Brought visionary looks, As yet in their astonished hearing rung The strange sweet angel-tongue: The magi of the East, in sandals worn, Knelt reverent, sweeping round, With long pale beards, their gifts upon the ground, The incense, myrrh, and gold These baby hands were impotent to hold: So let all earthlies and celestials wait Upon thy royal state. Sleep, sleep, my kingly One! My Snowman Friend I call him Mr. Frosty-Face! He brings us so much fun, With black coal eyes, and carrot nose, With a smile for everyone! If we play Ring-a-Roses, Then all our friends join in! But, when the game is "Statues", He always knows he'll win! When I talk, I know he'll listen to every word I say. I can shout, or knock his hat off, And he'll never run away! But, when the weather's warmer, Then Frosty-Face must go - Until the next time that he comes With winter's ice and snow.
